Description
I am a mature, dependable, caring and hardworking individual, who always strives to achieve the highest possible, at any given task. I possess excellent communication skills both oral and written. I have worked in the care sector for over 15 years. During this experience I worked in different settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, residential care homes and in the community. I have the experience to relate to a wide range of people from different backgrounds. I have high planning, organising and time management skills. I work well on my own and I am an excellent team player.
I have a passion of working with people especially seeing them achieve their goals. Most importantly I really enjoy seeing people achieve their goals and improve their quality of life. I understand that each individual is different and must always be treated with respect and dignity. It is therefore very important that the care of every person is focused on their individual needs and choices. Care given should always ensure that the individual is safe are protected from harm and abuse.
I enjoy travelling, cooking and baking, reading and listening to music. I also love knitting and watching TV sometimes particularly documentaries and true movies. I enjoy walking as a way of exercising.
Currently I am available mainly in the evenings and nights. I can cover evenings hours from 6pm to 10pm and nights upto 7:30am week days.
